Tesla Wrap Files Not Showing: App and USB Checklist

Check the upload menu, original PNG, Wraps folder, USB format and data-capable port in order.

Identify where the process stops

If Upload is missing on the phone, check the app version and vehicle support first. If the file is selectable but absent in the car, check the file and transfer source. Keep the exact vehicle, software version and failed step for a useful report.

Phone checks

  1. Use Tesla app 4.59.0 or later.
  2. Choose Creations → Wrap → Upload. Toybox → Paint Shop is the vehicle-screen path.
  3. Select the downloaded original PNG from Files instead of a compressed chat image.
  4. Check the limit of 10 from the app and whether your region and vehicle support the feature.

USB checks

  • Put a folder named Wraps at the root, not inside another folder.
  • Use exFAT, FAT32, MS-DOS FAT, ext3 or ext4; NTFS is unsupported.
  • Keep up to 10 PNGs, each no larger than 1 MB, with permitted filenames of at most 30 characters.
  • Connect to a vehicle USB port supporting data, not a charging-only port.
  • Remove map or firmware update files from the drive.

The file loads but looks wrong

Now check the vehicle variant and unfolded canvas instead of repeatedly formatting the drive. Keep the original PNG and compare its vehicle and file details with the download page.
